Two Wheels by Richard Gans with Music Video

Two Wheels, streaming now, is the second single off of Richard Gans' debut record, Before the Poppies Bloom. Two Wheels is a prayer for safe passage, devoted to the sweet saint of the road, as Gans faces a dark night with grace, faith, and surrender, and in doing so, divines a path back home.

The release is accompanied by a music video, filmed and directed by Jenna Marks, which takes Gans on two wheels from the heart of the city, across the high desert, all the way to the California coast. One cannot help but be reminded that Townes Van Zandt once sang, "to live is to fly, low and high", and Two Wheels is a testament to embracing the flight of life even in the lowest, darkest, and most divided of times.

The song itself is shaped by Gans devotional performance and the backbone of Red McAdam on upright bass, Bailey Warren on lead guitar, and Antonio Romero on piano. The backing trio elevate the rhythmic quality of Gans guitar playing and leads from Warren and Romero are as true to the vision of the song as Gans'singing.

The entire album was recorded and mixed by Max Harms and mastered by Kaushlesh "Garry" Purohit.
